We are looking at taking a cruise on the Mariner out of Galveston. Is the closest airport Houston? :confused: Are there shuttles? Should we rent a car and turn in in Galveston and Vice versa on the way back?

Yes shuttles - Check with cruise lines

Go to roll calls on cruise critic

and find others who may be coming in same and join up

Car rentals arent open on Sunday last I heard, to turn in a car rental. Need a limo or shuttle.
