U.S. Airways - FLL check-in

Can you check in outside the terminal on U.S.Airways at the airport in Ft. Lauderdale? How long are the lines at Security for U.S. Airways? This is our 1st time flying with them.

No one can tell you how long the security line will be. Depends on how many people are trying to get through.

I asked about Security, because the last time we flew from FLL on Northwest they had a very congested area with many lines. I think it was never set up originally for that many people going through at the same time.

They are all like that at FLL. Not my favorite airport.

I agree with you. I'm always surprised when so many people say they like FLL airport better than Miami. We have flown at the Miami airport many more times than FLL so we are more familiar with it.

 

There are so many ships in FLL that it's no wonder the airport is so crowded. We will be departing at the FLL airport in Nov. on a Thursday so maybe it won't be as crowded.
