Hotel for Family of 4??

Priceline won't let you select two beds so it would be a gamble. Any sugggestions for pre-cruise hotel for 4 Jan 7th, 2011?

Embassy Suites has a hotel/casino in San Juan. Their standard suite will handle two adults and two smaller children comfortably. Teens of different sexs would be another ball game, but doable if the females (mom/daughter) sleep in one room, males in the other.

I had the same problem, we love to stay at Da House, but max capacity per room is 3. Unless we hid one kid in a suitcase that wouldn't work. We are staying at Sandy Beach Hotel in the Condado area. The hotel is costing us about $110 per night. The hotel does not get the best ratings, but it is right on the beach. All we want is a bed anyway. I saw the hotel in some of our videos from our other trips down there. It is located close to the fancy hotels. Right near the one that has the big clam shell on the beach. We have also stayed at the Quality Inn El Portal. Not the cleanest hotel, but the sheets were clean. :) They have a rooftop breakfast in the morning that is wonderful!!

I have heard that with Priceline you can call the hotel and let them know you need two beds after you win, but there is no guarantee they will give you one.

Try hotwire. They will let you specify 4 ppl. We did this for our post cruise stay and got the Sheraton Old San Juan for a great price.

Another vote for Embassy Suites..we got a great deal on a 2 bedroom suite..one bedroom had a king bed & sleeper sofa..the other room 2 dbl beds..each room had their own bath...

What I have done in the past with Priceline is after I get the hotel, I call the hotel directly and ask for two beds.
