New Orleans for a day

Recommended Posts

Hello, we only have one day in New Orleans, and are looking for suggestions...

We were just there last July, and did the tourist walking stuff.. looking for something different.

I was planning on doing a swamp tour, but because it is November I fear there will not be any gators.

We have done aquariums several times, and want something else.

Any help???

Could we do the drive by in our own car?

Saw one tourist company, but they never responded to my email?

I think in November the gators, and other animals will not be out.

Can you drive up to the plantation homes, and go in?

Thanks

Certainly. :) I've been in Laura, Evergreen. There is Oak Alley, San Francisco.

I always make a lunch stop at the B & C Market, next to Laura, excellent food. :) All you need is some good maps. Very simple.
