Tampa port to Airport?

How far is it to the airport? I will be arriving on cruise ship RCI Radiance and have a 12:34 flight. Will I have a problem making this flight?

Yes, you will be able to make it. There are taxis right outside to take you. It is a flat rate of $25.00 per cab (not per person). The airport is approximately 10 to 11 miles from the port.

DP, you should not have a problem but try to do self or early debarkation if possible. For whatever reason, Radiance is arriving by 7am but passengers are not leaving the ship until after 8:30 (I drive by the port everyday on my way to work). Hopefully this is temporary but better safe than sorry. Also, the TPA security screening has been pretty slow recently (well, it was in September). It will take you about 25 minutes to get to TPA after you get in the cab if there are no traffic problems.

The distance is about 20 miles. Taxis charge $2.25 per mile plus $2, so the cost would probably around $45 to $50, plus tip.
