taxi to nachi cocom?

was looking into booking with island marketing to go to Nachi Cocom, does anyone know how much and how long it takes to get there by taxi? any info would be great. we will be on the epic in may, so i dont know where it will dock. thanks

They charge 15.00 (thats what we paid from the pier...for 2-4 people. We had 4 so it was great, but if it is just 2 of you, check your roll call and maybe spl;it a cab with another couple. It will save you 7.50 each way for 2 people!

4 people or less is $15. The taxi ride is 10 - 15 minutes.

Stupid question here but how do you get a taxi to return from Nachi to the ship... Do you arrange that with the driver who took you there or do you have Nachi arrange that for you or what.

Not a stupid question. We will be there on 12/01 and are assuming that others will need to go back to our pier.

Just let the front desk know when you're ready to leave; they will have a taxi there for you.

Also I just confirmed with Island Marketing that both Cozumel taxis and Nachi Cocom take US dollars. I know there has been confusion over this lately.

You will see the taxis waiting for you outside the shopping area by the pier with a big sign that states the prices to each destination. It cost us 15 to go to Mr. Sanchos a couple weeks ago which is close to Nachi Cocum (there were four of us) ...we had taxis waiting for us at Mr. Sanchos when we left so I assume our servers let them know we were close to going back to the ship.

 

It wasn't a very long trip and it was even quicker trip back because the guy was driving FAST!!!!:eek:

Sancho's or Nachi will make sure you have return transportation to the ship. Make sure at least one person in your party stays half-way sober :) so you won't miss the trip back.............

even if everyone is a little tipsy the people at nachi will get you to the cab in time for the walk back to the ship..just tell them when you arrive (while sober lol) what time you are planning on heading back. Carlos had a cab waiting for us and we had plenty of time to shop at the pier before heading back to the ship.

 

This was my favorite day of the cruise!! (i really didnt get hammered, just had a good time)

LOL...might be a good idea! The people at Mr. Sanchos were very aware of when we needed to get back so don't worry too much about it! :D

They have vans too but I don't know if there is a different cost involved...same company though.

Usually these place will make sure you get back regardless. Bad for business if you miss your ship.

Nope - pair up with others on your roll call to save $$ on cab fare ;)

At Nachi Cocum, you'll have your own waiter who will introduce himself when you arrive, and be at your disposal all day. Just let him know when you're almost ready to leave, and he'll make sure a taxi is called.
