Getting Credit from Casino

You're supposed to be able to. We had a positive balance on our onboard account lately because of numerous OBCs. If I didn't use them, I'd lose them. So, I went to the casino cashier cage, asked for an advance of cash (minus the fee they charge) and was given a slip of paper. I had to present that to the gaming table guy to get my money in chips. I played roulette for about 10 mins., won instead of losing for a change, went to the cage and cashed in my chips.

Seemed a bit ridiculous to do it this way, but it's what the cashier told me I had to do to get the money. (pretend like I was using it at the tables!). I've never had to do it that way before.

All that wasn't really necessary unless they do things differently on the CB. We just established a casino account & transferred what amount of OB credit you wanted to receive back in cash into that account. The last night just go to the window & get you money without any charge without having to gamble any of it.

My only complaint is having to stand on line in a smokey casino to get my money. ;)

Hi having problems on CB and need to find out how it works to get OBC back thru casino. Don't have time to do a search. And getting cash back thru casino--can I get all forms of my OBC back that way.

At any slot machine insert your cruise card and following available instructions to download money from your onboard account.

When you finish, make sure to put the balance on your cruise card (otherwise the next user of the slot machine will be real happy).

Then take your cruise card to the cashier and cash out.

(If you just go to the cashier and ask for an advance as one poster suggested, you will be charged a 3% fee to do so. No fee when doing it the above way.)
