Yes, got the call last night and I am excited. From what I understand the review of the Allure will air on Nov. 19 between 10 and 11 AM. Are you a Fort Lauderdale resident also and a Diamond Plus member?

I'm in Miami, and a D+. In reading the boards this weekend, it seems that the C&A folks with 60+ credits were invited to the pre-inaugural sailing. I have a ways to go........

I just found out today that we are going to be on the Today programme! My children are so excited that they are going to be on American telly.

 

We are the UK winners of the Reporters of the Seas competition and will be boarding the Allure on Thursday 18th ready for the departures on the 19th and 21st November.

I saw the families who won the contest on the Rcl website a little bit ago. Some were really good and some ... well... put it this way.. I didnt get the concept I guess for them to win.

Thanks for telling us of Kathie Lee and Hoda being on the Allure tomorrow morning. I have been waiting for that day for a while now to come. I will be watching and taping it at the same time. It is funny how Kathie being the fact that she was a Carnival spokeswoman years ago is on on her rival Rccl's Allure. It just seems strange to me but I guess she can basically talk about any cruise line now since her contract with Carnival expired years ago. Thanks for posting and in case you didnt hear.. Country sensation Taylor Swift is going to be performing on your sailing on Jan 21st. :) Wished I could see her live but I am sailing Allure on Sept 4th 2011 the Labor Day holiday week.

My DVR shows the Allure part as a separate "show" from 10:00-11:00 (Central). Does anyone know if this is also when the Wolf's and Jo & Rob will be interviewed or featured? I'm thinking that they'd be on the 10:00 part because there is no mention of anything in the description for the 7:00 show. I figure I'd ask here because CC members seem to know about everything before it happens! :)

 

I will be at work so I can't watch it, and I can't DVR the 3 hour Today show because, uh, my DVR is just a tad bit full right now. :o

RCI Face Book page said that the Allure would be in the 4th segment of the Today Show. Thus the 10 - 11 time.

The way that NBC created the Today Show it was 2 hours. They then added a 3rd hour which has basically become a part of the show with the exception that Meredith Vieira is not allowed to appear in it. The 4th hour which started several years ago now was originally meant to be a continuation using the women from the first three hours and adding Hoda Kotb. Due to low ratings they scrapped it but kept Hoda since she had been hired specifically for the 4th hour and added Kathie Lee Gifford. The 4th hour is essentially it's own show with a separate opening at and credit sequence just for the hour as well as separate graphics and on air personalities. Tomorrow's show is the 4th hour so with the exception of the what's coming up toss at the end of the 3rd hour (and any other special promo they add) it's not going to be anything until 10am EST. Should be good though, there was already a photo of them in CP tweeted out at 1pm today even though they were live on the air in NYC until 11am. Still can't figure out how they pulled that off.

I dont know about you but this ship and the oasis just seem to be to big. I really like the back of the ship with the aqua show but thats about it. I dont feel like i was actually on a bout but instead in a city street. just because its the largest doesnt mean the best. I think some smaller ships have been a better cruise. Cool ideas but not a fan of the cut out middle. Rate a 6.5 out of 10.

Glad I read this post:) I had the DVR set for 7-10am but just checked my listings and for those in the eastern time zone it is on at 11am. The description actually says "broadcast from a cruise ship' Enjoy everyone :)
