Transportation - FLL to Hotel

Good Morning Everyone,

 

Does anyone know the best way to get from FLL airport to a downtown (city center) hotel. If a taxi is the best way, anyone have an estimate on cost? Is there a shuttle such as Super Shuttle that I find at LAX? If so, anyone have the cost to that? The hotel where I am staying offers free shuttle to cruise port but not from airport. Thanks for your help! :p

I have paid $20 for cab plus tip.

I know from the pier to the airport it is $14.50. We just used the cab last week.
