Radiance Smoking Policy

I am wondering what bars allow smoking on the Radiance? Just looking for specific answers. Don't want this turned into an opinion thread! lol

There is no smoking within the ship. There are designated smoking areas on decks on the starboard side of the ship as well as on stateroom balconies.

 

They use to allow smoking in a designated are in the Colony Club on Deck 6 and also on Deck 13 in a specific section of the Viking Crown Lounge. I do not know if that policy still exists.

Not sure which other bars, but there was smoking in the casino every night except the first formal night and you could definitely smoke in the Sports Bar when we were on the RD in Oct...

You can also smoke in the Hollywood Casino after (;)) it becomes the cigar bar.

There is no Hollywood Casino on Radiance. You may have meant Hollywood Odyssey. But that is being changed into a Diamond Lounge when the ship goes into dry dock next May.........so if there was smoking there.........there won't be beginning in June.

Yes, you can smoke on 1/2 of the outdoor pool deck--not in the Solarium. Weird thing is that according to our Compass it was on the Starboard side on one deck and Port side on the other (can't remember which was on deck 11 and which was on deck 12, so it didn't really work very well)

Sorry I meant the Hollywood Oddessy. It is currently used for the evening Diamond event until 8:30. I did not know it was going to be changed over to a Diamond lounge during drydock.

In June I know there was smoking in the sports bar & some of the casino. I think there might have been in the Colony Club also, but not totally sure on that. I DO know not to bother asking at guest services-stood in line to ask what I though was a simple question & was told "I think there might be a non smoking bar on 6" You'll have to do your research with your feet, I'm afraid!

Non-smoking and smoking bars and lounges should be listed in your daily Compass. This has been the case on my last several cruises on various ships. I'd be surprised if Radiance didn't do the same.

The Cruise Compass used to have this info, before they changed the format. Perhaps this is still the case on Radiance, however on the last 3 ships I've been on, the smoking/non-smoking bars are no longer listed in the new, improved Cruise Compass, they are instead listed on one of the TV channels.

My last cruise they had a list of the smoking bars only on one page of the compass. A lot easier, and a lot shorter these days.

That's good news. I agree, it's much easier to have this info readily available in the compass. I mentioned this to Guest Relations a few times and maybe they have changed the policy fleetwide. Thanks for the update.
