Towel Animals

Do you get towel animals on Azura? Ive seen some pictures of them but i know you don't get them on Ventura.

I had never encountered them until Azura. A bit of a waste of time I thought. We didn't know what we were supposed to do with a 3 towel elephant. I'm sure the very busy cabin stewards have more than enough to do.:rolleyes:

On Thomson Spirit I had two Ukrainian stewardesses Tanya and Anastasia and they made lots of towel animals. I deliberately always misidentified them. 'I like the Walrus', 'it's a swan it's a swan etc etc. They also made a dummy figure to fit in the spare bed and dressed it up in my clothes. Very funny and we had a good laugh. I learnt a few russian phrases, apparently I got the accent just right.

We had a towel animal on Azura on a formal night evening, this was the first time I've ever had a towel animal on a P&O cruise.

 

Isn't it a Royal Caribbean thing?

We had bought a teddy for our new grandchild, and he was sat on the dressing table. We we came back to the cabin one evening, he was sat on the bed playing cards with 3 other towel animals!

Had them every night on Thomson Spirit, never had any on P&O :)

Never had any on a P&O or Celebrity cruises, but we did on a recent Princess cruise. Liked it for the first couple of nights:) but don't think our steward was very creative and could only do one design :( !!

When I first saw the thread title I thought it was about the kind cruises who bag sun loungers on both sides of a ship, to answer the thread we have never had any animals on Arcadia.

RCI love then but not P&O on any cruise that we have done.

Only ever had them on RCI, never on Princess or P&O.

 

One very late night we came back from the disco, after testing out Jager Bombs (don't try this at home!) to find a monkey hanging on a wire hanger from the ceiling :eek:. Scared the life out of us!

We had the monkey experience on Thomson Spirit. Sobers you up if your a bit tipsy.
