alj1208 Posted December 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2010 We have booked a pre-night in Miami at Eden Roc Renaissance. We are a couple traveling with our 4.5 year old son. Is this hotel too "adult?" Should we change to something more family-friendly? We want to be on the beach. Our cruise line didn't have any openings at the Marriott Courtyard Miami Beach, which was our first choice.
cb at sea Posted December 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 1, 2010 It's a hotel...not a nightclub! It will be fine. Your room is private and you have no need to take the child into public areas where there may be " questionable nightlife"...
alj1208 Posted December 1, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted December 1, 2010 Perhaps I should have worded my question differently. I am not worried about this being an "adult" place in terms of "questionable nightlife." I am wondering, though, if my four-year-old son would be welcome at the pool, or, is this more of a grown-up/couples type of place? Is there easy access to the beach? Are there casual eating places near the hotel? My son is well-supervised and is removed immediately if his behavior goes south, but I just want to know if families generally feel comfortable at this hotel.
