Seafood Restaurants between Houston & Galveston

I know there are threads on seafood restaurants in Galveston, but what about good seafood restaurants between Houston and Galveston near I-45? We are staying at a motel near Houston Hobby before our cruise and would like a good seafood restaurant. We have a car and can drive just about anywhere, but preferably not too far from Hobby. Thanks.

pappadeux on 610 south loop across from astrodome and reliant stadium.

and shanghi reds on ship channel off broadway near hobby

Shanghai Reds doesn't exist anymore-the building has been torn down. Brady's Landing is there but is very mediocre.

Drive to Kemah Boardwalk

there are a number of restaurants on the water all together.

All kinds!!

Better yet stay there or around there!

it is much safer (seriously) than around the airport.

I like the original Sudies in Pasadena MUCH better. I talked to the hostess at this one the last time we were there (months ago) and she said this one was sold. The food, IMHO, is terrible now. We won't go back...

Everyone keeps telling me to try Fish Place on Clearlake City Blvd...never have heard a complaint but don't have first hand knowledge!

Also, how about Noah's Ark or...oh gosh, what's the other place there by Noah's Ark??? Gilhooli's (sp?)? If you like oysters this is the place to go. But we love Noah's Ark for breakfast Bloody Mary's!

I disagree; granted the airport area is not the nicest place in Houston but certainly not that bad. There are a couple of restaurants near the airport we go to often. there are places in Galveston I wouldn't go to in daylight, much less after dark. But just like anywhere use caution and common sense.

Sorry to upset you with my comment with airport area!

You understood my comment!

Yes,

just like anywhere, use caution and common sense.

I certainly understand your Galveston comment,

its not that bad either.

I live there by choice.
