cruisercr Posted December 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2010 We are sailing on the FOS in Jan and wondered if the interior aft rooms have much movement? Can you feel the ship moving? Not much left so we need to decide. Any help would be appreicated.
cb at sea Posted December 9, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 9, 2010 If it's rough, you'll feel it everywhere. If it's not rough, no problem! The rationale is that the lower decks, midship, feel less movement...think of a see-saw...the middle portion doesn't go "up and down" as much as the ends! Works almost the same on a ship (or airplane)!

cruisercr Posted December 9, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted December 9, 2010 movement? you're on a floating vessel I realize there will be movement but what I was trying to find out is ...are the aft rooms worse for feeling movement. I sailed on the Radiance of the Seas a few years ago and had a forwrad room. We ran in to some rough waters and I really felt it in my room. When I moved to the middle of the ship (lobby) it was much better so I was wondering if the aft rooms would be the same as the forward rooms.
