We usually go to late dinner after enjoying a cocktail in the Crow's Nest. Last cruise on the Veendam we asked the first night about appetizers and were told they no longer did that. The second night we showed up in the Crow's Nest and our waiter excitedly told us appetizers were back and we got them every night after that. :) Doesn't seem to me that it was as robust a spread or choice as in previous years but it was better than nothing.

We were just on Maasdam for 11 days, in the Ocean Bar every afternoon for drinks. Hot appetizers every day. Some were delicious. Some were mysterous, but they were always there and plenty of them.

 

Fish and nuts as well.

 

2 for 1 drinks in there from 4:30 to 5:30 each afternoon.

 

Not too bad!!!
