Mercury: Phones, Apple products for sale?

1.)Are I-PODS for sale?

 

 

2.)Are I-PHONES for sale and if so, are they able to activate them?

 

 

3.)Any sort of "temp" cell phones for sale? Pay for minutes, etc?

 

 

My current phone is almost fried and I'm going on a cruise tomorrow hence the question.

 

Oh, btw.... water isn't good for cell phones. Y'all just keep that in mind.

Jedi: No, they do not. I don't know about temp cell phones, but I have never seen them for sale on board. You might be best to get one in route to Baltimore. You can get one in the islands, but they (iPods, iPads, iPhones) cost more. Sometimes cell phones come back to life once they dry out. Kathy

I second that. My iPhone took a dive into the toilet 2 years ago and came back totally within 48 hours. Of course, the water sensor is then tripped, so if you have any other problems, it's no longer covered under warranty! But, I've had no issues.

Just got off the Mercury this morning (Jan 03). No electronics for sale on the ship. You could get an I Pad in some ports for $900 .....

JEDIKNIGHT, I sypathize with you! I've lost 2 cells to water, one in the toilet and one in a pool. I then purchased insurance on my next phone and haven't had an unfortunate incident since then! Maybe you can now get 4G!
