What is the best way for two people, one of whom has mobility issues?

We used the taxi service they have shared rides or private vans

There is also a shuttle service that goes around to the different hotels from the airport ...cannot recall the name

That is not a regular hotel shuttle service, it belongs to a regional bus company which has vans available upon request.

What are the mobility issues? If you use a scooter or motorized wheelchair, you may have to contract with a special van service to accommodate you. If it's just a walking problem, I would stick with a taxi. The buses are very difficult for someone with mobility problems to negotiate. Believe me, I know as I'm disabled and use a scooter.
