RCI Beach Towels at port

Folks,

 

Just a few short days and we'll be saling on FOS. Can't wait to get away from this snow.

 

Question about beach towels.

 

Assuming they have them on the beach at Coco Cay......Correct?

 

St Thomas and St Maarten..... Assuming we have to bring our own when we hit the beach at these islands. Is that right? Can we bring towels from the ship or should we plan to pack our own from home.

 

Speaking of towels from the ship.... do we have towels in the cabins to bring to the pool deck or do we get them at the pool?

you go to the towel kisok by the pool and check out your pool/beach towels. they will either scan or plug your info from your sea pass card so you are responsible for that towel to be turned in each day or the end of the trip. you can exchange wet/dirty towels daily for a fresh one without going thru the scanning. Just don't forget to turn in whatever you checked out or you will be charged $25. directly to your sea pass. and when you turn them in either daily or on the final day, make sure they credit the towels back in. you can check out as many as you want, just make sure that is what you turn back in.

 

You must take that towel off with you at ports if you want towels. There are no towels on cococay, or most ports (not even all inclusive - so bring your ship pool towel) and you do not need to take any personal towels on board at all. don't take your cabin towels out of the cabin.

 

There are towels in the gym however, there are not check in or out.

The pool towels may be brought ashore...no need to pack towels (you'd never be able to get them dry/clean, anyway!)

 

Don't worry about the charge....how often do you "lose" things...that's a non-issue!

:)we will be on this very cruise shortly and we are anxious to hear how you enjoyed the ports and what you did at each port...thanks..we are looking to going to sapphire bch in st thomas or doing a ship excursion since there will be5 ships in port that day..
