Triumph question...

Yes, there is a area similar to conquest class. Not all adult area, but then its not all adult back there on Conquest class either. Same set up, with a bar in the back area, on the same side as the pizza etc. ice cream 24 hours is on opposite corner.

This ship hasn't been retrofitted with a Serenity area yet - but the New World pool (aft, by the pizzeria) is adults only -

Huh?

On my Triumph cruise 1 month ago, kids were in this pool (and hot tub) area every day. Mine included. And I never heard a word that they weren't supposed to be.

I was actually wondering the same thing on our trip on the Triumph last week. The New World pool had no signs or anything saying it was adult only like on other ships I've been on and there were kids there and nobody was kicking them out so the rules obviously aren't enforced.

I sailed on the triumph a year ago with my teenagers. They were also in the back area at one point but nobody told them to get out of the pool or hot tub. We had no idea that was an adult only area until almost the end of the cruise. There were no signs saying it was and nobody was enforcing the rules until the last night of the cruise. A bunch of teenagers were jumping in and taking over the hot tub and someone came over and made them get out and escorted them out of the area. Honestly, I was not impressed with the staff on the triumph and just the whole experience on the ship. It was dirty and everything was broken :(

That was my first cruise and I'm about to go on my second on the 18th which is my wedding cruise on the Imagination. I don't know much about this ship. I hope it goes well.

I was on the Triumph last year and there were ALWAYS kids in the New World Pool and hot tubs (but this cruise was during a school break, so I am hoping this was just a timing thing). The hot tubs had adults-only signs clearly posted, but there were none around the pool. Before we cruised, we were told by a Carnival rep that the aft pool and hot tubs on Triumph were adults-only. I commented on this board when I got back and got a couple of indignant responses from CC members who maintained that the area was not adults-only. I'll be back on the ship soon, and I am curious to know the answer to this question myself. I do wonder when Triumph will get a Serenity area - does anyone out there know about this?

Cortney - Sad to hear that, but then we are not surprised. Hopefully, there will be some peaceful place on the Triumph next week other than our cabin. Last year, there were so many wild kids running around (including in the bars) that my husband and I joked about retiring with a cocktail to the laundry room!
