girlie_girl Posted February 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2011 My 9yr. old daughter alway seems to be cold when we go out eat and wants to hang all over me to get warm. Just wondering if any of you remember the MDR being cold and should she wear a sweater instead of a cute strappy dress?
cb at sea Posted February 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2011 If she's always cold, bring a sweater...if you find you don't need it, don't bring it to dinner! I've never needed a wrap in the dining room, and I'm "cold-natured" too....
nlt46 Posted February 4, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2011 The kids area is sometimes cold too. Don't know if you will particpate in that or not, but it is always good to be prepared. Nancy

Julienatul Posted February 4, 2011 #6 Share Posted February 4, 2011 It does tend to get a bit chilly in there. If she is one to get cold easily I would certainly bring it just in case. If she isnt cold she can always put it on the back of her chair
chipmaster Posted February 4, 2011 #7 Share Posted February 4, 2011 Go prepared bring a sweater, sounds like you should do that everywhere not even on the ship :) My 9yr. old daughter alway seems to be cold when we go out eat and wants to hang all over me to get warm. newbiecruiser09 Posted February 5, 2011 #8 Share Posted February 5, 2011 Take one with you: Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. :)

Nancy I second that! Camp Carnival was very cold last year when we went in June. The kids needed sweatshirts just for that.
CeleBrat Posted February 6, 2011 #10 Share Posted February 6, 2011 YES! And, don't forget, that if you happened to have spent too much time in the sun, and ended up with a sunburn, everything will seem really cold. I always plan our dinner outfits with coordinating sweater/jackets that can be worn with multiple outfits. CeleBrat
