11:05am flight home - can it be done?

Is it possible to make a 11:05am flight after disembarking from the ship in San Juan on a Sunday?

As long as your ship gets into port and is cleared it time it should be easy. Lots of taxi's waiting and it is only a minute drive from the port to the airport.

1105 should be fine last year we had a 1030 departure and no problem. We were at the airport by 830. Just take a taxi don't use ship transfers.

We also have an 11:05 flight time and glad to hear this will be no problem.

Yes I think so, in January we were flying to Maimi to get on a another cruise and had a 9:15 flight and made it with plenty of time to spare. You will want to carry your own bags off.

Just a reminder that you should aim to be at the AP about 2 hours before your flight. If you think you can comfortably make that earlier time you're fine.

We were at the lounge at 7:00 and off the ship at 7:30 and at the airport and at our gate by 8:05. Were super concerened about getting on the flight in time. It was no problem. The airport wasnt very bust at that time but it could be later.

Well this is good to hear... we have a 10:50 flight from SJU on Saturday, April 2. We live in a hard to get to place, with four flight segments to make, so we didn't have the option to book a later flight and get home in one day. (Not to mention the 1hr 45min drive the rest of the way home.) I normally never, ever do that. Alas, we have another close one at Pt. Canaveral/Orlando in October.

We just returned on Sunday. We had an 11:50am flight. We left our room at 7:05, (self debark), walked off the ship at 7:15, in the airport at 7:30, checked in and put on stand-by for an earlier flight, got on the flight and we were taxing down the runway at 8:30. Love American Airlines :)

 

You shouldn't have a problem. Airport is very slow at that time, not sure about later.
