Grandma of 4 Posted February 10, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2011 We are thinking of booking this hotel for one pre-cruise night. If you have stayed here, would you share the positives and negatives about your stay here. Are shuttles provided from the airport and to the port? Cost for shuttles? Anything you can comment on would be appreciated.

It's less than a year old, every room has a full kitchen, good breakfast, nice pool deck, free airport shuttle and is located across Stirling Road from Oakwood Plaza Mall where there is a K-Mart among a lot of other stores. On Stirling Road is Burger King, Chipotle, Taco Bell and Mickey D's. On into the mall you will find Moonlite Diner, Wendy's Miller's Hollywood Ale House, TGI Friday's, Sal's Italian Ristorante, Dave and Buster's, Sweet Tomatoes and Red Lobster. The 1 and 2 bedroom suites also have 2 full bathrooms and sofa sleepers.
misty57 Posted February 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2011 We stayed here in October. We thought it was very nice. Very friendly staff. Shuttle was used for airport transfer and they also took us to dinner. The breakfast in the morning was nice as well. I won this hotel with a bid of $50 on priceline. frito58 Posted February 10, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2011 Do your homework and you can save some money you can get it on hotwire and know you are getting it , just go to betterbidding compare the amenties and you will know which one it is . I saved someone on my rollcall $100 from what there TA was charging them. And priceline will be cheaper yet just do some checking.

Reception with wine, beer and food at night (Mon-Thurs) and free breakfast in the morning. We plan to stay there on our next cruise but don't know how to bid on priceline to be sure to get it. Thanks for the hlep! We booked this hotel via Hotwire last July for this April  and I think it was the airport area. Might be listed as Hollywood/FLL area. If you look at the spotting map that shows the area, you should be able to tell. Good luck ML
