Senior Citizen Posted February 15, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2011 There was certainly an instructor (two, as a matter-of-fact) on the maiden voyage of the Marina---Joan and John Macholl. DH and I went to the beginners lessons which were held at 10 am every sea day (of which we had a few). The intermediate lessons began at 11 am. We thought the instructors were excellent and now that we are home, we have ordered the Amy Grant bridge books that they recommended. They also told us that we were welcome to return in the afternoon for social bridge with other beginners but we were caught up in other activities in the afternoons. I am also a new bridge player (I am bringing my book to study since we have a lot of sea days). We are on the Feb. 26 Panama canal cruise.
