Then Kirk started entertaining the crowd.

At one point, Kirk asked the married men in the audience to stand up if they love their wives. There was at least 50 guys that stood up. Then he said, " you love her so much you would do anything for her" some sat down " you love her so much you would embarrass yourself on stage for her" more sat down " you love her so much you would embarrass yourself on stage every day this week". Well this is where I sat down, hey I’ve already proven to her how much I love her on our Valor cruise. There was six guys left, Kirk had them give their best Tarzan impression.

Andrew from New York was the crowd’s favorite.

After coming up on stage he was instructed to respond whenever the name ‘New York’ was mentioned by Kirk: His task would be to come up on stage and tell the audience " Hi, I’m Andrew from New York and I love my wife so much I’m willing to jump up and down four times" to which the crowd would respond "prove it" and Andrew would perform his spectacular jumps. He was a really good sport, we saw him perform a few times during the week.

Percy Crews gave the audience a taste of his comedic act, he was good, we’ll be attending his performance tomorrow night.

After the show it was time for us to call it a night, Mitchel arrived 45 minutes past his curfew with an excuse that he met a girl and her parents. Her father had just returned from a tour in Afghanistan and Mitchel had lost track of time talking with him about it. We had the pleasure of meeting them later on in the week. Tomorrow is a sea day and I will have a lot more photos of the interior of the ship.

What a nice surprise to find another awesome review by you!! Looking forward to following the rest of it!

Good luck to Tracy during her training!! I'm sure she is excited and scared all at the same time. What a brave lady to make a huge career change like that!

(BTW I still think your wife looks like Amber Valetta :D)

Nice to see DW and me in your great review.

We really hated the smoke in the casino so we ended up staying away from the 2nd level.

We used the 3rd deck instead so as to avoid the smoke.

Since we had ATD on the 3rd deck ,this worked fine.

Wow outstanding review! Thanks for all the great pictures.

The pride is a beautiful ship.

We are leaving in 75 days for our cruise on the Splendor, and I love looking at pics and reading reviews prior to leaving on a cruise!

This is exactly the thing to set the mood.

I just made our room reservations last night for courtyard marriott in Long Beach. We got a park and sail deal which will save us some significant cash on parking cost at the terminal. They also throw in free breakfast for 2 people in each room and a shuttle to and from the pier. We are driving in and gas is going up up up, so anything we can save on is nice.

Can you tell I am excited? Sorry your review got me going! :)

Thanks Nanaimobound, yes you definitely sound excited and you have every right to be. :D

Thanks Mike, for once again taking the time to past another fabulous review! Best of wishes to your entire family while Tracy is away, and Godspeed her journey and return!

BTW ~ the Pride is a gorgeous ship! Your pictures make me even more excited to sail the Miracle next month, which will be our first trip on a Spirit class ship. We'll be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, and... oh yeah!... that reminds me! DH still needs to read your proposal review so he can get the "hint"! LOL!

Take care! Leah

Monday, Jan 3rd, 2011: Sea Day

We woke up to a beautiful, clear, warmer day.

Tracy and I went to the gym for a workout while Mitchel slept in. Once back in our room we ordered room service for breakfast. Tonight is elegant night and Tracy wanted to look at some jewelry, so off we went to the Fun Shops on Deck 3, mid.
