Mike,

your reviews have inspired me to book again. I could not put down your b2b2b2b review. It was so awesome. I loved everything you did and Congrats on your proposal. I loved all your photos on the ships you have been on. I do have one question, what camera do you use to take these awesome photo's?

Anyway I can't wait for more of your review.

Andrew

Thank you, Andrew. On our B2Bs I used a Nikon D50, A Canon Power Shot A590 and a Olympus 1050 SW for the underwater shots.

For this review Nikon D50.

Enjoying your review and pictures. Makes me want to book another.

Good luck to Tracy with her new career and training. May you both stay safe. As the wife of a retired corrections officer I know it's not easy. My husband was in the service when we were first married and we spent some time apart - never six months - much shorter times but more of them. It will seem like an eternity but before you know it you'll be back together.:)

Thank you cruisingstar, we appreciate it. Mike & Tracy. :):)

Beauties Dance Club with DJ Joncarlos, Deck 1 and 2, Aft. What’s unique about Beauties is that it covers 2 floors. The Fantasy/Conquest/Destiny class ship’s dance floor were on a single floor.

The Chapel, Deck 3, Fwd. A nice place to renew your vows, too bad we already did it on the Valor.

It is quite interesting to see Pride's decor, compared to her sistership Miracle, same deck plan, but a very different look. Pride looks brighter and more elaborate, whereas Miracle is subtle and serene. It would be interesting to compare to the other 4 ships in the class, aside from the obvious funnel differences on the 2 Costa Cruise Lines ships

Mikey..having to walk through the casino is one of the main things I remember about the Pride:) Certainly different from the Fantasy class.

I don't think you've gotten to pictures of the bathroom yet? We're in a balcony cabin on both the Pride and Spirit this year and trying to remember what type of storage space is in the bathroom..I usually bring my over the door hanger...but we're trying to cut back in the luggage department as we will be driving with a total of 7 people...Will you be posting pictures or can you tell me if there is a counter or shelving...our last time on a Spirit class was 2002...way too long:D and I can't remember:eek:

I'm sorry but I don't have any photos of the bathroom and I can't remember what counter or shelves it had. I am a man after all and I usually don't notice these things. If I can remember I'll ask Tracy next time I speak to her or maybe someone else reading this can answer your question.

Great review and beautiful pics as always Mike . I am enjoying it very much. Thank you for taking the time to share with all of us.

I had to do a double take when I first started reading. I live about 5 minutes away from the Hyatt in Milford where you stayed the first night.

So people really do stay at those hotels they have been building there these past few years *LOL*

Glad you had such a great time.

Best of luck to Tracey. That is an awesome career move.:)

Thank you from both of us. Mike & Tracy

You are not alone. My wife felt the same way you did. After the first day, she was using Deck 3 to get from one end of the ship to the other.

Very cool. I must have missed viewing this area as none of it looks familiar to me. And here I thought I thought I saw everything.

I love reading trip reports about the Pride, especially those with pictures. Excellent report so far. I look forward to reading more. :)

Thanks PimpTastic, have a wonderful cruise on Pride, Mike :)

Great pictures, we sailed on the pride last winter and had a great cruise also. Living in Virginia it is nice to skip the air fare to take a cruise economically. We sailed this year on the Victory and had one of the best cruises ever but next year we will likely cruise out of Baltimore again. Maybe even on the Pride. I too want to know more about your pictures. What camera did you use and did you do any after shot processing? The pictures of the lounge are so well light.

Thanks for the review.

Thank you Sir Cruise-a-Lot, I used a Nikon D50 and on some of the photos I used the auto fix on Photobucket.

Can I tell you how wonderful your review is. I'm not sailing until 1/8/12 and I can't get enough of the Pride. Have never been on Carnival and I can't wait to go. That carrot cake looks yummy. As a female retiree from law enforcement I wish Tracy all the best, (must be in the name I am Tracey also.) You are never weak for having compassion, but never turn your back.

Can't wait to see more pictures.

Thank you Tracey. :)

Mike I'm hooked on your reviews! I really enjoyed the one about Carnival Freedom, my wife and I are sailing in July. I hope that Tracy is doing well with her training!

Thank you Albin1914. Tracy has been texting/calling me as much as possible. Today they were getting up at 5:10 a.m, to start off they don't just make their bed they also have to iron their sheet and pillow case.

I remember when I was there and the Corporal would bounce a coin off your bed, it had to be tight or else.:(
