Sea Pass - where do we get this?

I keep reading about a Sea Pass card that you have to swipe often on the cruise. How/where do we get this card? Is it something you get after you board the ship, or should we have gotten it in the mail by now?

You get your SeaPass card when you check in at the pier. It serves as your room key, onboard credit card, and ID card when you exit and re-enter the ship in ports of call. When you first board the ship (or when they check you in, can't remember on X) they will take your picture, which is 'attached' to your card. When you leave the ship, you will stick your card in a slot, and your picture will flash up on a screen and the crew member can see that it is you. When you come back, they will do the same. The ship will know that you left, and if you don't return, it will know that also and they will try to find you before leaving without you...EM

Don't worry, you get your Sea Pass when you check in at the Terminal. They check your paperwork, swipe your passport and give you your Sea Pass then. It is your pass to go on/off the ship, it is your SR key to get in/out of your room and it is your chargecard for just about everything (Maybe Everything!) on the ship.

The charges go to your On Board Account that is covered by your Chargecard you give them at check-in, or your can settle with cash at the end (night before) the cruise.

You get to keep it (most crusies I've been on) as a token at the end.

Enjoy

When you board you will get your card. They will take your photo and when the card is scanned by security, they will know it is you!

The card serves as your room key, credit card and ID all in one! It is very handy. Be sure to have it with you when you disembark, as they won't let you off the ship without it.

Relax, when you check in at the pier they issue it. It will have your cabin# & dinning assignment. The as you board your phot will be taken & magically attached to the card. You will not see the photo but the card reader used when coming & going off the ship will"read " the photo. Gurad the card with your life its your charge card for everything on ship.

Have a great trip
