New to Royal Caribbean - My Time Dining vs. Traditional Dining?

Recommended Posts

I'll be going on my next cruise solo. If I end up with MTD will I eat alone each night or will they put me with others?

Tried both. Sailing solo I enjoy traditional dining at a large table. Have been very fortunate and met really nice people. With a large table you usually find someone shows up each evening.

With MTD found people did not want to "share" usually because they were a large group of friends or family, or just wanted a small intimate dinner. It can go either way depending upon the passenger mix. Other people have reported joining a group and eating with them all week. I don't think it's predictable.

Thanks, that makes sense. They said the early seating was wait listed but maybe I'll switch to the late seating, i do like tables for 8 or 10.

Also check with your Roll Call. You may find other solo cruisers that want to share.

Honestly we love MTD only bc then we know we have reservations each evening and we just call the dining room if we decide to eat elsewhere!
