croozluv Posted March 3, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Just curious..... In the past we've booked vacations with a personal travel agent and we've always had a thank you gift waiting in our hotel room. (wine, champagne, chocolates, spa gc, etc.) I booked my Carnival cruise through a PVP at the toll free Carnival phone line. Do PVPs send appreciation gifts to cabins? :)
firefly333 Posted March 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2011 No, they are not allowed. I actually once asked my PVP this question. Thats the only reason I knew she said they arent allowed.

Forgive me as my humor made me say that...:D Dont forget to pack those blue towels in your suitcase with them when you go home. Im sure they were a gift to me. A TA can send a gift, its just Carnival PVPs who work directly with Carnival who cant send them.

Nice to know TA's can send a gift as it is a nice little extra if they do.
golfadj Posted March 3, 2011 #8 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Never understood why PVP's have so little authority to do anything but do not expect a gift.
