Carnival Shareholder OBC now offered through July 2012

I was happy to see Carnival extend the Shareholder Benefit of OBC for sailings through July 31, 2012. I figured it would show up sometime soon, but you never know till it's in print.

I wouldn't expect anything different. I would be scared to see what would happen to the stock price if they discontinued to OBC, and thousands of folks that hold the stock for only that reason suddenly sold:rolleyes::confused::eek:

It will be extended again. The board has to approve it on a year by year basis, but it will.

I wouldn't worry about it, I think they know it is a good PR move to continue renewing it.

As long as the competition has the perk (RCCL) it won't go away. IMO both stocks are a bargain at this time and I am adding to my portfolio.

Only if you'r buying just for the obc perk:) Honestly, they won't be changeing it anytime soon, so don't worry. Good luck with your dollar cost averaging.

I picked up a bunch more RCL on friday, those t/e equities are gonna get kicked around a good bit around the holidays, finally cheapening up.
