YankeeClipper581 Posted March 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2011 I understand that the wine list in Canaletto is different than that of the MDR. Does anyone have a copy of Canaletto's wine list, or know where to find one? I've had no luck on HAL's website, nor on this forum. Thanks.
Jemima Posted March 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2011 Canaletto's does have their own wine list. The lido, the MDR, the Pinnacle, Canaletto's and probably the Tamarind all seem to have their own wine liests. I had a shiraz in Canaletto's that I really liked, but wasn't able to get elsewhere on the ship.
garydm Posted March 7, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2011 I don't have the list but there are about a half dozen ok Italian wines on it and the price is quite reasonable-about $25/bottle. I recall a primitivo, zinfandel, perhaps a barbera and the like. You can also order off the Canaletto wine list when they have "Italian Night" in the Lido. Rare kazu Posted March 7, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 7, 2011 Canaletto's wine lists are quite reasonable - PG is not - if you have found a wine you like, you can ask your wine steward to send it to any restaurant you are going to - especially useful if you have bought a wine package;)

m steve Posted March 7, 2011 #6 Share Posted March 7, 2011 just ask the wine steward. We like the Montepulicano and had it in both the main dining room and the Pinnacle.
garydm Posted March 7, 2011 #7 Share Posted March 7, 2011 Unfortunately, this was not the case on Oosterdam. We liked the wine and the price in Canaletto but the wine steward in the MDR said you could not order it from the MDR, only in the Canaletto. Probably due to the reasonable price. A good red wine alternative in the MDR is the Beaujolais at about $25. Gary
