We are booked at the Hyatt in a few weeks and we need some advice from past guests on which is better to stay at? There is the tower and garden rooms. Which is better? Also, can anyone comment on the beds. Past reviews said that they are VERY uncomfortable. Any good restaurants close by. Any other information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for you help!

We stayed at the Hyatt last May and had a real nice time. We liked our tower room. The hotel is very well maintained. Our room was nicely done, bed was very comfortable, and it had a spacious bathroom. The resturant, lobby, and gift shop is located in the same building as the tower rooms. We found this to be a real convenience if we needed something. The pool is nice and situated in a tropical setting. There is a resturant/bar near the pool area where we had a hamburger for lunch. As for outside resturants, we didn't venture out. We were staying at the hotel post-cruise and couldn't stuff one more "big meal" down. You made a good choice, I know you will have a good time whatever room option you decide upon.

I stayed there in January...excellent hotel. I was on the 5th Floor..just high enough to see the ships . I had one problem--a noisey neighbor..they had security come up...
But my bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful.

You can pick up the water taxi about a block over..you can walk right to the dock area and the taxi will take you to Las Olas...many, many restaurants to choose from.
Or a cab ride over the bridge should only be about 5.00...lots of places to eat there too. I have been to "Bravo" twice...awesome Italian Food and I would eat there again. It is located in a place called "Quay"...kind of like a strip mall but nice.
There is also a seafood place called Bimini Boatyards in the same secton. There is also Carlos and Pepes...fantastic Mexican!
Have a wonderful cruise.

Next up...HORIZON Sept 18th to Bermuda!
