Generally you can board earlier & yes they have food available. I don't know what ship you're sailing but upon boarding the main dining room is generally open for lunch (usually noon-1:30) along with the buffet which is open 24 hours. Then there's the Trident Grill (burgers, dogs, fries, etc) & the Prego Pizzaria...at least that is what they were called on the Golden. At the end of our cruise on the Golden, the Horizon Court buffet was open from 0400/0600 (continental breakfast), 0600/0900 (full buffet breakfast) or one of the dining rooms for a sitdown breakfast from 0630/0830. So you see, you won't go hungry upon boarding the ship, not at the end...nor anytime in between! :D

The buffet is open 24/7, the grill will be open for hamburgers, hot dogs, bratwurst, etc. and the pizzeria will be open. You will not miss a meal or anything in-between.

The morning of disembarkation, the buffet will be open as well as the dining room, for breakfast.

Hey neighbor,

You can probably board earlier than 1pm. Princess usually starts boarding 11:30am or so. Food will be out when you board, a full buffet. Breakfast is served starting early on the last day.

Have a great cruise.

Great does Princess do any free drinks when you board... Just making sure we know everything..

Hey Greenville neighbor. We are driving down to the port friday night all night drive then all day drive on the way back... I might be a little crazy for that one.

Hey neighbors..... driving straight from Greenville can be a pain. Why stress yourself? We found a great hotel in Ft. Lauderdale that for $159 will let you stay overnight, park your car for the cruise (we did a 14 day one), and free shuttles to and from the ship. You climb aboard all rested and ready to have fun. It's the Cambria, and you can book online.

On Princess food will be available from the moment you board on embarkation day to the moment you leave at the end of the cruise.

first thing we do is check out our cabin and then head for lunch, last thing we do is leave the cabin and head for breakfast. And food all between

I highly recommend the pizzaria (best pizza) and trident grill (best cheeseburgers and fries). My husband and I eat most of our lunches there or at the wheelhouse bar (on sea days) for the fish n' chips & bangers and mash.

Trident Grill also makes a dynamite grilled chicken sandwich! And those Pub Lunches with the fish & chips.... mmmmmmmmmmmmm! :D
