555lavan1t Posted April 4, 2011 #26 Share Posted April 4, 2011 We were on the Voyager in the Eastern Med a couple of years ago and talking to our neighbor around the balcony partition when his door closed and locked. Luckily, we were able to call service and they came right away and freed him. These posts seem to indicate that this happens more than I thought it could happen. flossie009 Posted April 9, 2011 Author #27 Share Posted April 9, 2011 Well, we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. The last few days were a bit more land based, with a port every day. Casablanca/Rabat was a bit of a disappointment (Sunday + rain did not help); loved our trip to Mijas Village from Malaga; Cartagena excellent; Caves of Drach on Mallorca very interesting. Two more superb meals in Signatures on Saturday and Tuesday evenings (Menu had changed from earlier in the Cruise). Disembarkation in Barcelona, and bussing to Barcelona Airport, on Thursday was very efficiently organised The many days at sea on the TransAtlantic Crossing allowed guests, crew and entertainment staff to really get to know each other, making the two weeks a very enjoyable experience. We made some very good friends and were given an excellent holiday by the Regent staff - they are all so enthusiastic. Food and service in all the restaurants was to a very high standard; evening entertainment was very good; and the daytime activities highly enjoyable. We are looking forward to our next cruise with Regent :) Signing off this thread Susan & David P.S. Hope the next cruisers find the new carpets to your liking. Our waitress at breakfast on Thursday morning was highly amused by the plans for the refit: "The contractors will be re-laying the carpets in the cabins where they are sleeping............this should be very interesting!!" We noted that staff were removing all booze from the cabins before the contractors came on board - so they might get the seams straight

Travelcat2 Posted April 11, 2011 #30 Share Posted April 11, 2011 You're only saying that b/c his questions match your particular wealth of knowledge!! ;) Hugs to you & Dennis! Hi there! You're so funny! That winning steak we had was some freak set of circumstances. Have you scheduled your island vacation yet? You need to get it over with so you can book another cruise. The Monte Carlo to Rio cruise sounds yummy!:D
