S-Class hump balconies

I know there is a "STICKY" thread listing the various pros and cons of the S-class ships. However, I'm wondering if anybody has a consolidated list of all the hump balcony cabin numbers (with the larger balconies) for each deck?

TIA

You just have to just look at the deck plans. The first & third balconies off the hump on the angle are the largest. The other two are large, but not quite as large by a foot or two. Here's a thumbnail that shows cabins on the Port side. The Starboard side is the same - the same on all decks.

I'm aware of that, however, I was hoping for something that actually listed each cabin, floor by floor. I know that Deck 8 is off from what appears in the celebrity brochure. We're going to be onboard RCI next week and I want to book a Celebrity cruise. I just thought if I could bring along a printed copy of the "premium" hump balcony cabins, it would be easier if something I wanted wasn't available, I could check it out ahead of time and make alternative choices and bring the list with me. We would like a hump balcony cabin on the "backside" and one with the bed near the bathroom. I just thought a printed copy would make things easier.

Anybody else know where I can fine one?

Here is a list I copied from another post. The ones listed are the largest balconies (about 3 times the normal depth), the ones next to them but still on the slope are about twice the normal size. Hope it helps. Cheers

These cabin #'s don't seem to be correct, unless I am wrong. For example,

on the Vista deck of the Silhouette, isn't it cabin 8257 that has the largest

balcony with 8255 the 2nd largest. If I am wrong someone please let me know. I would hate for the poster to go to booking with the wrong cabin #s.

You are correct. Celebrity initially had the deck plan wrong for the Vista deck on their website. The list that was posted on this thread is a link to an old list that was based on the erroneous deck plan. The numbers should be correct except for Vista deck staterooms (staterooms starting with the number 8).

The correct large Vista deck balconies are: 8197, 8160, 8257, 8253, 8230, 8226, 8278, 8283, 8252, 8256

I believe that on the Penthouse deck there are 12 humps.

Correct, but the list is of those balconies that are nearly triple sized. The other six on the Penthouse deck (i.e. 1608 for example) are nearly double sized.

Thanks , Gonzo. It's a relief to me because I booked cabin 8257 in November. I certainly hope the original poster sees your correct list of Vista cabin #s.

Here is an updated list of non-suite staterooms with nearly triple sized balconies:

Resort Deck: 2105, 2109, 2106, 2110

Penthouse Deck: 1547, 1552, 1601, 1605, 1606, 1610

Sky Deck: 1075, 1044, 1231, 1243, 1247, 1108, 1120, 1124

Panorama Deck: 9155, 9192, 9209, 9215, 9237, 9241, 9266, 9270, 9292, 9296

Vista Deck: 8197, 8160, 8257, 8253, 8230, 8226, 8278, 8283, 8252, 8256

Sunrise Deck: 7159, 7206, 7215, 7219, 7241, 7245, 7260, 7264, 7286, 7290

Continental Deck: 6155, 6156, 6209, 6215, 6237, 6241, 6210, 6214, 6236, 6240

The staterooms that are also on the slanted portion of the hump, but not listed above have nearly double sized balconies.

Be advised that the some of the staterooms on this list on the Continental Deck have partially obstructed balconies (2C Category - i.e. Stateroom #6240) and some fully obstructed (2D category - i.e. Stateroom #6210). The 2C obstruction involves seeing a life boat when looking straight down, but no obstruction when looking outwards or to the left or right.

Also be advised that some of the Penthouse Deck staterooms have a small obstruction from window washing equipment (1547 and 1552 as well as the nearly double sized staterooms next to them - 1549 and 1554; 1549 and 1554 are a bit more obstructed than 1547 and 1552).

Here is a photo of a 2C balcony to show the nature of the partially obstructed view:

Thanks for pointing out the issue. 8257 is definitely one of the rooms with a very large balcony; enjoy. :)

Gonzo, thanks for the correction on that old cut & paste.

If you want to check to see if your stateroom has the bed by the balcony or by the bath, there are several ways. First, check out the deck plans. If the stateroom has a fold out sofabed and/or upper berth, then the bed is always by the bath as the sofabed/upper berth is by the balcony.

If there is no fold out sofa bed, such as in AQ on Deck 11, just go down to another level on that same side of the ship. For example, 1610 and 1606 both have the beds by the bath. They correspond to 9270 and 9266 on deck 9.

The corresponding staterooms on the other side of the ship, it's just the opposite. 1605 and 1601 and 9215 and 9209 have the beds by the balcony.

Another way is to count. If you locate a stateroom with the fold out sofabed with bed by the bath near the location of your stateroom, all you have to do is count up or down as all the staterooms alternate bed by bath/balcony/bath/balcony/bath/balcony, etc.

Thanks for putting the list together. I need to point out that there is one change that needs to be made to the Vista Deck cabin numbers. Cabin # 8278 should be changed to 8279.

Thanks for all the info. It is much appreciated!

I was in room 2108 on Eclipse. C2, bed next to bath, back of the hump, larger (not kargest) balcony. LOVED being on the pool deck, and so close to everything up top!
