Questions about Jewel

Hi. I have been reading about different things being on other ships and I was just wondering if anyone can confirm if the Jewel has these too.

 

- pub crawl

- murder mystery lunch

- non smoking in casino (every other night?)

- best of all lunch

- hold em poker in casino

- piano bar

Every NCL ship allows smoking in the casino at all times.

Yes, full-time smoking in the casino. In addition, on the Gem there is a little piano bar area just outside LeBistro, and unfortunately these are adjacent to the cigar smoking room. Every time the door opens you are blessed with cigar smoke. On top of a serious allergy to smoke, I also have a rare disease that is treated with low dose chemotherapy, and that disease can become active for months after exposure to antigens like smoke. I was delighted that inside LeBistro there was no smell of smoke at all. We just held our breath when moving (quickly) past the cigar room. Overall, the Gem was a very smoke-free and pleasant ship for non-smokers and those with illnesses that require them to avoid smoke.

- pub crawl Yes, they had at least two

- murder mystery lunch They had a Murder Mystery meal, I honestly can't remember if it was lunch or dinner

- non smoking in casino (every other night?) Casino is 100% Smoking and can be bad at times

- best of all lunch They had this on the first sea day in Le Bistro, they also had a Jazz Brunch on the final sea day and it appears they now do a Indian lunch as well, but the Indian lunch was not available on my cruise so I can not speak to it 100%.

- hold em poker in casino I believe they had this, I usually only play slots so I can not confirm 100%, but they did have poker

- piano bar I believe they have a piano bar
