I really wanted to get a cabana but the web site is showing sold out. Is there anywhere else to get them? Also, if that doesn't work, what about the clam shells, where can I reserve those?

I haven't been to HMC yet, but I will be there in MAY and from everything I've read, you rent the clamshells once you get on island - they are about $ 12.00 for the day.

We were just @ HMC 2 weeks ago.Do not wait until you get to the island to rent a clam shell.We booked ours on the HAL excursion board.$14 for two people.With more then 1 ship in port there will be none left .We arrived on the second tender and all shells were rented.By May it will be very hot and you will be glad you have one to keep you out of the sun.

I tried booking on carnival but it was sold out, and I couldn't find anywhere on there to book a clamshell

I didn't know that more than 1 ship can visit HMC. How can I find out if another ship will be visiting the same day as us ?

We were in HMC last october and found lots of chairs with shade so wonder how necessary clamshell even is.

last I knew Holland America was the only line having 2 ships there at the same time since they are the ones who actually own the island
