Staying at a LAX hotel night before cruise.

 

Taking a car service from hotel to Port of Long Beach.

 

What time should I arrive at Port of Long Beach?

I'd like to be there maybe an hour before they start boarding. Have VIP check in, so not too worried about long lines

Most cruise lines start boarding around 11:30.

Seriously, why don't you reconsider the hotel you're staying at? Instead of staying by LAX, switch to a hotel in Long Beach. You'll be much closer. Plus the area around the airport isn't the nicest.

Anyone have information on what check in is like? Last year at Port Everglades it was a breeze.

Have family in Marina Del Rey we only see once a year. Want to stay with them as late as we can.

 

Stayed at Embassy Suites last year and it was pretty nice. Staying at Sheraton Gateway this time.
