room with a view Posted April 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2011 One of the ports of call on our April cruise is La Coruna. The ships tour to Santiago De Compostela takes one and and half hours each way, though the trip can be done independantly by train taking approx 35 minutes one way. Has any one done this and can advise ?
jocap Posted April 11, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 11, 2011 Hi....if you go back to the index, and look under ship's excursions, Europe, there's a Spain section where a local woman from Santiago has written out all the details of this trip. From memory, she says that the train station is about 5 miles from the port. I think her name is Keltic; she knows all the best places round that area. Jo. Rare Host Sharon Posted April 17, 2011 #6 Share Posted April 17, 2011 Alternatively the town itself is rather nice and very interesting if you don't want to do a tour.
