Dawn,Sun No Solo Cruisers Allowed

Only couples around Australian Ports. These are now part of P&O.

The only ship allowing solos is Diamond Princess because it is owned by Princess.

Was informed about this by Princess Customer Service today.....

Have you tried other cruise lines, which cruise around Australia, such as Royal Caribbean?

Hi Kruisy - once again it seems as though the Princess customer service employees are lacking training. Out of curiosity, I just did a dummy booking for 1 person and it worked. Price was slightly cheaper for 1 person in a cabin than the total of 2 people occupying a cabin - more than just port fees.

Sun Princess and Dawn Princess are still owned and operated by Princess - P&O does all the behind the scenes stuff (I think they use the same customer service employees etc). P&O and Princess are part of the Carnival group. Good luck with you booking - Australia is great.
