Panama Canal - LA to Ft. Lauderdale - 14 day

We have a group of 10/12 people who are interested in taking the Panama Canal - Los Angeles To Ft. Lauderdale -14 day, in January or February 2012.

 

We all agreed that Princess would most likely be the cruise we all agreed upon until.............we looked at the itinerary only to find that the first 5 days are at sea with NO stops in Mexico. What happened here?

 

Holland America's itinerary is a lot more appealing. Hopefully someone from Princess can shed some light on this. A 14 day cruise with 9 days at sea? I don't think so!:mad::confused:

for now princess has dropped the mexican ports because of the violance there

I would suggest looking at the partial transits-They are more port intensive and are 7 day cruises out of FLL, which are going to be less expensive

Would they consider doing FLL to LA?

Princess has one Feb 28th

Also Mar 13th LA to FLL

They have 3 sea days in a row

Of course thing may change by next year & more of Mexico may be added

 

Celebrity have a couple in Mar & April if you can change your dates
