san diego airport to the Port--transfer options?

We're arriving on Southwest Airlines at 11:30 am on May 15 and the Radiance of the Seas sails at 4:00. Is a cab the best type of transfer to use? Also, any idea of the rate?

There will be plenty of cabs and I would say that is your best bet. Don't remember the fare but you can almost walk to the pier. Easy. Do not use the cruiselines transportation you will be over paying.

The fare will be under $15. It is walking distance (2+ miles) but dragging bags? Plus some of the area is high speed roadway, so not the best walking area.

Sounds like we'll be OK just taking a cab then. There are 3 of us...myself, my daughter and my 10 yr old grandaughter...not good walking partners with luggage!! It's good to know the airport and port are not very far apart. I hate flying in the day of the cruise, and time is a big issue. Our flight is a nonstop and the first one out of Austin, so hopefully we won't be dealing with a flight delay.
