california7 Posted April 23, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2011 I read on a post that you can order from the bon voyage department and also from your room steward. has anyone ordered a bottle from your room steward recently on carnival.
sherilyn70 Posted April 23, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2011 I have only ordered them through Bon Voyage and the rum was waiting for us in the room when we got there. It was $40 for a bottle of rum but cheaper than ordering individual drinks the entire cruise.
gardeningmama Posted April 23, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 23, 2011 Does anyone know what size the $40 bottle is?

*Mach* Posted April 23, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 23, 2011 Ordering from you cabin steward varies by ship... some permit it... some don't. The sure way to order is via the Guest Services Desk. Tell them you want a bar setup for your cabin and they'll do the rest. All of the liquors are one liter bottles... :)

MicksMom Posted April 23, 2011 #11 Share Posted April 23, 2011 Host Mach's list is up to date, I ordered Malibu Rum yesterday & it was $55. I was reminded of the outdated alcohol laws in Texas... our bottle won't be delivered until Monday. Have heard that some received theirs later that Sunday, if so, great, if not, Monday will be fine. redcruzer Posted April 23, 2011 #12 Share Posted April 23, 2011 How much do they charge for Bacardi and cokes on a cruise when ordered at a bar?will it save money to order bottles thru the Bon voyage?
blindrid Posted April 23, 2011 #13 Share Posted April 23, 2011 About $6 or $7 with tip if I remember right. I did the math even though I typcailly drink my liquor with water so it's a bit different but when we ordered, assuming a single ounce pour, a liter is 33 ounces, or about $1.27 an ounce at $42 ($40 + tax) a bottle

sherilyn70 Posted April 23, 2011 #15 Share Posted April 23, 2011 We also had soda cards to go with our bottle of rum. We would have drank sodas as well as drinks so it was a good savings. We got a little flask and carried the rum around with us on the ship, adding it to glasses of coke and also glasses of orange juice with grenadine added to it since both were included in the soda card cost.
