novicecruiser1111 Posted April 25, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2011 We're less than 2 wks away from sailing. So now I'm thinking about what to pack. :) I understand DH need to wear long pants and collared shirts for dinner. Are polo shirts ok? Or does it have to be button down? How about shoes? Does it have to be closed toe shoes? DH hates bringing extra shoes other than tennis shoes and sandals. Any comments will be much appreciated. Some wear sandals and/or tennis shoes with their pants. The folks are usually dressed nice, but not overdressed. :)
Wendy The Wanderer Posted April 26, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2011 Nice polo shirts are fine, docker-type pants. Nice sandals work for women, so probably would for men too. Resort casual is the norm.
novicecruiser1111 Posted April 26, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted April 26, 2011 Thank you for your prompt replies. I guess I will just have to convince DH to pack a bit extra. Afterall, we're not bringing our snorkel gear, so what's one more pair of shoes? =)

Likewise, hubby "lives" in shorts (nice ones though) most of the year !!! Having to get him to pack L-O-N-G pants (and shoes) for a holiday has not been greeted him enthusiasm. :p
