Question on Juneau Tendering

We will be on the Sea Princess in July visiting Juneau. We will be tendering ashore. I guess there will be a lot of ships there that day.

 

Does anyone know where the Princess tenders dock. Will it be near where the cruise ships dock or closer to the town?

Try looking here. http://www.claalaska.com/schedules.html. It should tell you just what ships are in port with you and which tender dock you will have.

Here is a link to a map of Juneau. You will likely be tendering into the Intermediate Vessel Float marked "C" which is about a 3 minute walk into town.

Paul - when are you sailing? We have a Roll Call started for the 19th of July sailing - if you are on that, then I hope you will come on over and join us.

Thanks for the info. I am renting a car from Rent a Wreck. They say where I pick up the car is within walking distance from the docked ship. But I got to thinking if the tenders dock in town or further out I might have to take a taxi.

Tenders will be going not far from the docked ships. It is really a small city with a small port.
