Want to rent a car at the airport and return it before our cruise. It will be for two days. How will this work, is there a cheap rental place at the airport?? One that will then take us to the Cruise Port after we take the car back?? Thank You

I know Alamo has a shuttle back to the port but when I rented their prices were higher also. I used a place called Sunshine Car Rental. Took the bus at the airport to the car rental places and then there was their own shuttle to take us to the rental agency - not far at all and not a big deal. We stayed at the Hyatt in FLL so there was free parking. When we returned it they called us a cab which was about $12 to the port.

Budget also is very close to the port and has a shuttle. Used them last year.Great service.

^ Just to clarify, Budget at the AIRPORT does not participate in the free shuttle to the pier. We know from experience. No biggie, a cab was 15 bucks. But I know there is an office closer to the pier, which is what csunshine860 is talking about.

The budget we used was not at the FLL airport it was practically at the port - if my memory serves me right on 17th but not too sure. They do shuttle you to the port as you can see it from their location.
