Copenhagen port location

Does anybody have the address of the port in Copenhagen?

 

How far is it, timewise, from the airport?

 

How much does the taxi cost for that trip?

 

What is the earliest you can board the ship?

 

We arrive at 7:15 AM and the ship sails at 5 PM.

 

My cruise consultant is sailing to Hawaii so I couldn't call him this week, :)

 

We just got off the NCL Sun transatlantic cruise they ended in Copenhagen. The ship docked at the Langelinie cruiseport dock which is about 10 miles or 30 minutes from the airport. Taxis are very expensive figure about $65-$80 to get to the airport depending on traffic. Without any delays you can get on the ship by around noon.

We used the Langlinie Pier, which is just north of the Little Mermaid statue. It's about ten miles to the airport. I don't know how much a cab would cost you. Probably the earliest they will let you board is around 10:30 or 11:00--just a guess.

We are sailing next Tuesday from Copenhagen and our e-docs say Freehaven dock (not sure that's the correct spelling), not Langerline, so I would double check with NCL.

FYI - The Freehaven terminal has free wi-fi in the terminal (at least it did last year) - the codes are listed on the wall inside the terminal. You might be able to get some reception on the ship in the outside areas.

 

If anyone does use the other dock near the mermaid statue, there are some small outlet stores selling various goods and a couple sold things like water and soda. Can't comment on the prices as we didn't buy any there, but in case you need some before you board.
