Leaving NY during Fleet Week question?

I will be leaving for Bermuda this Sunday from NY. Since it is Fleet Week here I was wondering if anyone else has left from NY during Fleet Week and if so how crazy was the traffic, parking etc. Any info any one has would be appreciated. Thanks! Sue;)
