Wondering about the casino's, are they a decent size. Love to play the slots. We are sailing on the Ryndam in Sept. Anyone familar with the casino. Have not sailed Hal in some time do they now use tickets if you happen to win. Thank you

I've normally seen empty spots at the slots on HAL. They don't use tickets if you win. You use your room card and a pin. If you win - you just go to the casino office, they put in your card, you put in your pin and you are paid. If you prefer, you can carry your balance to gamble away the next day :)

The Ryndam's Casino is not real big -- there are lots of slot machines:

I will guarantee there will be enough room in the casino to make your donation. Just remember, they know you can't go next door or down the street, so they don't have to pay out like a land-based casino. Good luck!

I'd agree. HAL casino slots are tight. The slots got a fair amount of play on the Maasdam in March and we spent some time in the casino every night and I don't recall anybody hitting any significant jackpot the whole cruise. Doesn't mean it didn't happen when we weren't around but this was a very port intensive cruise so the casino was shut down a lot during the day.
