Isklaar Posted June 17, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2011 I'm looking at booking a cruise which takes in the Panama Canal, Ecuador, Peru and Chile, as far south as Valparaiso, sailing at the end of January. While I understand that nobody can predict the weather or sea conditions, and I've looked at the weather charts etc, I would like to hear your experiences of travelling in this area at that time of year. I understand the Panama Canal and Ecuador are tropical, so it will be hot, humd, probably showery. But the rest of the cruise, especially for sea days, is it likely we will spend a lot of time on deck or will it be too cool/windy/rainy etc to do so? Thanks! Rare Keith1010 Posted June 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2011 We have found that the weather to be quite nice this time of year. Again, no one can predict but expect by and large warm weather and fairly calm seas. Keith
