newfarmers Posted July 4, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2011 We loved it, was very reasonable compared to other hotels. For us, was a good location - over hill from Chinatown and not far from underground station, but we are walkers
kuldalai Posted July 15, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 15, 2011 Try Hotel Grand Pacific on Victoria Street or Rendezvous Hotel on Bras Bahah Rd at corner of Belcoonen .

dizzy1948 Posted July 18, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 18, 2011 The Re is good - and they have a bus that drops off in various places - goes several times a day - and Outram train station is near by. The bus drops there as well. Definatley different - look them up on the web. Prices are good. We've stayed in all sorts of hotels in Singapore...some better than others. Our last one -only two nights - was the Robertson Quay Hotel which is pleasant walk to Clarke Quay. Not necessarily the smartest hotel - needs some work doing - old and tired - but clean and reasonably priced. It was one of the few hotels that had a "family room" (adjoining rooms) that didn't break the bank.
